In today’s world where cynicism, sarcasm and edginess are in vogue, being described as wholesome sounds rather boring or naïve.  And I would not ever want to be thought of as boring or naïve.

Yet the Bible tells me,

Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.  (Ephesians 4:29 NIV)

My advice is wholesome.  There is nothing devious or crooked in it.     (Proverbs 8:8 NLT)

Thinking that wholesomeness is boring or naïve is yet another lie of the world; wholesomeness benefits community.  Join me this week in living wholesome lives, honoring Christ in all things.

Sharing the journey with you,
