The intent of God is that I live a life of abiding joy. However, I often find myself living inside the story of my circumstances rather than inside God’s reality. The result is a lack of joy sometimes triggering symptoms of anxiety and fear.

The remedy? David tells me the cure is found by living in the presence of God not in the fixation on my circumstances.

. . . you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your [God’s] right hand. (Psalm 16:11)

I experience joy when I live out my circumstances trusting in His process and living in His presence.  The end result?  Eternal pleasures.

Will you join me this week in reveling in God’s presence?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
