Proof of concept is a term used in business and science to describe a process that tests the reliability of a service or a product. It determines the potential for real-life application.

The Psalmist knew all about our modern-day term, proof of concept, when he spoke of the testing of God’s promises. He knew that they had been proven reliable in real life.

Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much. Psalm 119:140 NLT

In my church when I was growing up, we would sing:

Standing on the promises I cannot fall,

Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call

Resting in my Savior as my all in all,

Standing on the promises of God.

All that is left is to live in the light of those promises – boldly walking daily in the truth of God’s thoroughly tested promises.  Will you join me?

Sharing the journey with you,
