When beginning a spiritual journey, a good question to ask is, "What do you want?" These are the first words Jesus spoke in the Gospel of John to two perspective disciples. Their response to Jesus was somewhat awkward as they asked, "Where are you staying?" Jesus' response to them was both an inquiry and a promise, "Come and see."  (John 1:35-39)

How would I respond to Jesus' question, "What do you want?" If I want to journey with Jesus, I cannot have a short attention span. As His follower, the words, "come and see," demand attentiveness, commitment, and fidelity.  It's a journey, not a decision.

What do I want with Jesus? I want a greater love for Him and for others that results in the healing of broken relationships.

Will you join me in answering Jesus' question, "What do you want?"

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
