What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Matthew 16:26 NIV
Jesus knows my tendencies to pursue possessions, position, and the favor of others. He redirects my ambitions when He says,
Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 NIV
Will you join me in seeking His kingdom and His righteousness with assurance of His provision?
Lord, help us weed out the ambitions of this world and seek "ambitions" of eternal value.
