I love to laugh. I don't do it enough because I take myself too seriously. Lighten up, Bob!
The first chapter of the delightful book, Simple Health, by Biebel and Koenig is entitled "Laugh Yourself Healthy". We are all aware of the physical benefits of laughter, but these authors suggest that there are psychological, sociological, and spiritual benefits. Laughter is truly profitable!

Recently, during a meeting in South Africa a physician from the Sudan shared his thoughts. His words were spiced with humor that brought a unity of laughter to the whole group. His life in a war ravaged country is not easy but humor lightens his load. His spirit is a challenge for me.

The wise King Solomon tells us,

A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance.
(Proverbs 15:13 KJV)

Positive humor is a wonderful lubricant in relationships. This week will you join me in applying some as we relate to others?

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
