Glimpse – a momentary or partial view.

Our family lived in Budapest, Hungary for seven wonderful years. In that time we were barely able to mine the riches of that wonderful country. Recently a variety of friends have visited Budapest for a day or two. Many of them tell me that they want to return, yearning to see more of the treasures of Hungary.

The Kingdom of God is somewhat like that. Because of God’s presence in my life I have the amazing opportunity of giving people a glimpse of God’s love.

So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord–who is the Spirit–makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image. 2 Corinthians 3:18 NLT

Reflecting God’s love is based on me loving God. The condition of my heart will determine what a person sees–a glimpse of the Kingdom of God or a glimpse of me. What will it be?

Join me this week in a sincere desire to share a glimpse of the Kingdom of God with others.

Sharing the journey with you,

Bob Snyder
