Is God sufficient for all my needs? “Of course!” is my reflex response. But what am I really thinking? “If only I had this or that; if only my circumstances were different, then I would be able to trust Him more.” However, trusting God for what is enough necessitates a deeper understanding of Him during difficult times.

A.W. Tozer once said, “the most important thing a Christian can do is to think rightly about God.” When my understanding of God is wrong, my brokenness, my frustrations, my financial issues, my struggle with my eating habits, my strained relationships cause me to question God’s sufficiency – a path with a bad ending. Whether my struggles are internal or external, God has the resources needed.

The apostle Paul speaks to this.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:19 NIV

On my journey of faith, where will I go to have true needs met?   Join me in yielding our needs and struggles to the All-Sufficient One.

Sharing the journey with you,
