Never in my lifetime have I had more time-saving devices, yet I don’t seem to have enough time. How can that be?

Never in my lifetime have I had so many technological tools to aid my communication process, yet the clarity, depth and warmth of my communication does not seem improved. How can that be?

Never in my life have I had more access to Bible aids, sermons and commentaries, yet I am not sure how much they have strengthened my walk with the Lord. How can that be?

The world tells me that “faster and bigger” is better, yet God says to simply focus on Him and His Kingdom.  How can it be that “faster and bigger” does not necessarily nurture my faith?

The Apostle Paul tells me that the simplicity of Christ and His Kingdom outweighs the convenience of faster and bigger.

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.  Colossians 3:1-4 NLT

Sharing in God’s glory – now that is really bigger and better!

Sharing the journey with you,
