The journey with Jesus is not for the faint of heart. It requires all of me.
Describing the attitude of the heart of a follower of Jesus, the words that come to mind are:
- Whole-hearted (Joshua 14:8 NLT)
- Devoted (Acts 2:42 NIV)
- Selfless Surrender (Mark 8:34 NIV)
When I live “all in” for Jesus, I am unencumbered by myself, life circumstances and ambitions. My heart, mind and soul have space for purity of purpose in my walk. Not easy. Not without stumbling. Yet my heart’s desire.
