Never in my lifetime have I had more time-saving devices, yet I don't seem to have enough time. How can that be?

Never in my life have I had so many technological tools to aid my communication, yet the clarity, depth, and warmth of my words do not seem improved. How can that be?

Never in my life have I had more access to Bible aids, sermons, and commentaries, yet I don't think they have strengthened my walk with God. How can that be?

The world tells me that "faster and bigger" is better, yet how can it be that "faster and bigger" does not necessarily nurture my faith?

The apostle Paul tells me to simply slow down and focus in on Christ and His Kingdom. Doing so outweighs all the bigger, faster "resources" of our day.

Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of Heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God's right hand. Think about the things of Heaven, not the things of earth. For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all His glory. Colossians 3:1-4 NLT

Sharing in God's glory – now that is really bigger and better!

Sharing the journey with you,
